Hee Haw Farms Field Trip

Theme:  Pumpkin Patch
We enjoyed two lovely days at  Hee Haw Farms!  We loved the giant slide, the animals, the hayride, the other slides, and the corn box!  However, when asked what was the favorite activity of the day, all shouted proudly, "Picking my pumpkin!"

"F" is for Freaky Frankie Fish

We took turns fishing for pictures of words that begin with the letter "F" such as a feather, fish, fork, ...

Music & Movement:  We went "fishing" for "fish" with corresponding activities & songs such as some of the following...

Writing:  We practiced our letter F/f on our "magic" boards.  We also had fun putting Halloween stickers on a large letter "F"

Reading:  We added two new words to our word wall:  of & if
