- We carefully crafted some magnificent ornaments to give to our families for Christmas. We enjoyed swirling the paint and watching the colors mix. We loved stamping brown bags with spoons to create the Christmas Lights for our gift wrap. Some of us even had fun stamping cards for others.
- Our Polar Express Parties were fun. We loved wearing our pajamas to school! And bringing soft cuddly toys! We began our journey with the book, The Polar Express. As we read it we would pause to do some activities. (I took some liberties and added a few things.) We visited the "dining car" and feasted on pancakes drizzled with syrup, mountains of whipped cream, mini chocolate chips, and chocolate milk. We stopped to visit a frozen lake to do some "ice fishing" and caught some fun prizes. We visited the "music car" and played on some magical bell chimes to create some beautiful Christmas carols. After finishing the story we were given a fun Jingle Bell necklace to remind us to Believe in the Magic of Christmas.
