Circle Time: I had an Easter Basket Filled with eggs. We took turns choosing an egg. Whatever was inside the egg gave us a clue to tell us what song, movement or story we would do.
Movement: Bunny Hop, Bunny Hokey Pokey, Little Chick
Music: You Are My Sunshine, Raindrops, 3 Little Ducks, Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, Bunny Coming Near, Itsy Bitsy Spider
Books: Max's Chocolate Chicken by Rosemary Wells & Here Comes Peter Cottontail by Steve Nelson
Art: Easter Baskets & Bunny or Chick Stick Puppets
Game: Easter Egg Hunt With A Twist: We searched for eggs. Then we gave Miss Jodi the bag of Empty eggs in exchange for candy & toys. The morning class had fun hiding the empty eggs for the afternoon class. As you can see from the pictures, the eggs weren't too difficult to find, but we still had loads of fun!
