Ghosts, Glow, & Glitter!
Theme: Letter "G"
Choosing Time: Geometric pattern puzzles, Fishing, Tinker Toys
Art: We finished our Ghosts! There were two kinds of paint to choose from: Glitter or Glow-In-the-Dark. They turned out really cute!
Music & Movement: "Spooky-Loo"
AM Snack: Thank you Makaylah for yummy crackers, cookies, & fruit snacks!
PM Snack: Thank you Lydia for yummy Granola Bars & Grape Juice!
Lesson: Letter "G" left a "Gift" for us today with many "G" objects inside. It was fun to take turns to pull out an object. I think the favorite object was the Gold Glitter! We are all glittering glamorous (and probably will be for many days to come)!
Books: Woo! The Not-So-Scary Ghost by Ana Martin Laranaga & If I had a Gorilla by Mercer Meyer
Finger Play: 5 Little Ghosts
Recess: We had some fun enjoying a lovely day outside! I learned that I own a tower on an ancient castle that hosts fair maidens waiting a brave prince to rescue them :)
Science: We noticed some changes starting to happen to our ladybug larvae. We still don't have a butterfly....
Nicest Moment for Me:
"Teacher?"
"Yes?"
"I Love You!" (followed by a BIG hug!)
"I Love You Too!"

Science: Our apple seeds molded. We are tying again with some seeds from our snack today...We also checked on our Caterpillar Cocoon. We are still awaiting a butterfly. We observed two ladybug larvae. We fed them. We noticed that they are long and different colors than ladybugs. We also picked some "ripe" tomatoes and found some slugs and snails hiding in the garden. We also watched a water frog.
