PM Dinosaurs!

Theme: Letter "D"

Choosing Time: Dig for Dinosaur Bones, Dinosaur Puzzle, Dinosaurs & Dragons
Craft: Dinosaur Puppets
Some received some really cute names!

Snack: Thank you Nathan E. for some Delicious donuts, dots and go-gurts!
We had fun making our donuts into letter "C's".

Lesson: Letter "D" makes a fun sound. Many words begin with "D" such as donut, donkey, door, dinosaur, dot, drum, dad....

Music: Donkey Song & 2 Dinosaur Songs

Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs (sung to Row, Row, Row your Boat)

Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs Eating fruits and leaves
Take a bite, chew it up and spit out the seeds (Make spitting sound)

Movement: We had a "Dinosaur Disco" with our Dinosaur puppets. We love to move!

We also moved like several animals (duck, dog, dragon, dinosaur, & donkey) that start with "D."

  1. I asked Van how school was today and he replied, "D." That opened up the discussion of dinosaurs and donuts, which Van and I both like a lot.
